I am an award-winning author and illustrator known for my immersive, detailed stories, filled with loveable characters, whether it be a goose, moose, puffin, or kindergartener.

I am best known for the Puffin the Architect series, and have worked with Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Walker, Gecko and Huia. I live with my husband and two young daughters in a small shipping-container house near Wellington, where I illustrate and write. We also run our family business Tumbleweed Tees from a workshop in the marina nearby, where we screen-print clothing featuring my designs of New Zealand plants and wildlife
